Switching Account Owners
The Account Owner’s login is the only one that has access to the billing/payment information of the account. It may be that the Safety Manager set up the account but is not responsible for payment. It may be that the person that set up the account is no longer with the company.
We have 2 options to make this type of change:
Do-it-yourself requires you to have the login of the current account owner. We recommend this option if the current account owner is no longer with your company/no longer needs access to your account. If the current account owner still needs access, skip to #2.
Login and click the round, person icon at the top right.
Select Account Settings in the dropdown menu. Change the name and email address to the person you want to be the new Account Owner and save. You will be logged out and will have to verify the change of the email.
NOTE: You cannot change both the email and password in one update.
On the login page, use the new email address as the username and the original owner’s password to get logged back in. Click the person icon as well as Account Settings again.
Use the bottom two fields to change the password and save.
You will need to validate the password using the new email and password in the login.
