Our system will send you passcode to the email for the setup. However, we have received calls from employees telling us they did not get the passcode, or they were not able to log in within the time sensitive window. As a work around, go to the login screen, put your email address in for the username and then select the Forgot Password option to set the new login.
Additionally, if the email address associated with the account is different from the one you're trying to use, contact your organization’s account administrator to confirm and update the correct information as needed.
Some things to keep in mind when resetting your password:
You must use the email address that was entered into the system by your company administrator.
If you don't see a message from OWYN Safety with your recovery passcode, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
We recommend copying and pasting the recovery passcode to prevent typos.
If you've set your password and still have trouble logging in, double check your entries for any typos or unintended spaces at the beginning or end of your username/password. To check your password, you can use the eyeball icon to see if you've entered the correct password:
Verify that there are no trailing spaces or extra characters in your email or password input as these can prevent successful login.- Passwords are case-sensitive. Enter them carefully to avoid login problems.
As a final option with login problems, we recommend reaching out to the person who has added you to the system, especially if you're not seeing any OWYN Safety messages in your inbox or spam/junk folders. Sometimes a simple typo was made during the entering of email addresses and this needs to be handled by your administrator.
For new users who do not have login information, it is crucial to contact your organization's account administrator to be added to the system. Administrators are responsible for sending you an invitation email, which will include the details needed to set up your account.
General Troubleshooting
When experiencing issues of any kind with the OWYN Safety Management Platform, consider trying the following:
Logout or refresh the screen.
Try a different browser. For example, if you're using Google Chrome, try Edge or Firefox instead.
Try another internet-connected device (phone, tablet, computer) if available.
Alternatively, try using incognito or private browsing mode to bypass potentially problematic cached data.- Confirm it's not a network issue. Are you able to visit other sites without issue? If you're not able to access the site from your home network, have you tried connecting at your workplace?
