An individual online course is perfect for assigning training to one or more employees so they can take the course on their own. After you have your employees added to your team, let's enroll someone into a safety training. You can watch this video tutorial, or follow the step by step process detailed below.

Start by selecting the Training option and then Course Library from the drop down.

Enrolling one person to one course

On this page is a section of drop down boxes where you choose your employee to assign a training to:

the course you want them to take (be sure to select English or Spanish)

a due date

and finally, if the course has the option to re-enroll due to an expiration date, you will see that the Automatic Re-Enroll option is checked. You can choose how many weeks before expiration that your team will be re-enrolled. The default is 2 weeks.

When you have selected all of the details select Complete Enrollment and you will see a confirmation popup.

Your employee will then see their training in their My Training Page.

Enrolling a single user into multiple courses

Once you have selected your user, select the training courses you want to assign to them. Simply select the first course, then click the box again to select the additional course(s) you want to assign. *Helpful hint: use "CTRL + Click" to select multiple courses without needing to reopen the box.

Enrolling multiple users in a single course

When you are assigning a course under Select Trainee(s) you will select your first name, and then click the box again to select another name. *Helpful hint: use "CTRL + Click" to select multiple users without needing to reopen the box.

Enrolling multiple users into multiple courses

After you have all of your users selected, let's enroll them into a few different courses. Be sure you select your language preference and then either type the name of the course you are looking for or select from the drop down.

After you have assigned the training course(s) your users will receive an email letting them know they can begin their training.

How to re-enroll a user

If your user needs a re-enrollment after passing or failing a course, this is how to do it.

The icon that looks like a clock rolling back will show a pop-up when you click on it.
Just enter the date and select confirm.

If the course you are enrolling in has an expiration date you will be prompted in the pop-up to confirm a re-enrollment time.

Best practices

When assigning training courses to your team members, please be mindful of how many you assign at one time. We know that learning and retention of material is best when you limit the amount of information expected to learn to smaller chunks at a time. Consider only assigning 2-3 courses per week, or setting the expectation that only 2-3 trainings need to be completed in a week.
