Now that you have done your first Site Specific Plan (SSP), you can easily create duplicates or create a plan for a project bid without specific information. Let's get started!

We love the WayFinder® tool here at OWYN Safety, so that is how we will start out.

When you click on the WayFinder® button a search box will appear and it will show you the most recently searched topics. This is very helpful when navigating this site!

We are going to use the drop down option under the question What do you need help locating?

Choose Safety Programs

Choose Federal, State, or site specific safety programs. Choosing this option does not mean you are choosing to do all 3, they are just together in one area.

I am choosing Site Specific.

For this example, we are going to add a new project.

You will see that information from your last plan is already available. You can see the tabs below the project currently listed, I created a driveway project just as an example. Being able to duplicate a project is amazing! If your same information can be used for several projects, choose to duplicate it so you can save the time of filling in the information fields.

By clicking Duplicate Selected Project you will see this box

You can see that all of the previous information was transferred over to the new project with my new project name.

Let's now archive a project. Just click that Archive Project button. This option is so you could remove projects that are complete or are no longer needed on the list for any reason.

Let's say you have archived a project and want to restore it. We have a button for that!

And we have that project back to work from

Set as a default is important if you know you will be working with the same information for multiple projects. You can use that as your pre-filled do-all form to save time.

Speaking of a pre-filled form to save time! If you do not know some of the required positions for a project you can always fill them in as Unknown or To be determined.

This is a great feature for those of you who bid on a project in advance of when you know who will be on your project.

I hope this guided tour helps you move forward with creating Site Specific Plans. You can create and store as many as you need. If you ever need a boost, remember the WayFinder® can help you find your way on our site.
